Sonoma County Airport at 2200 Airport Boulevard, Santa Rosa, California.

No one is here to do their job accept TSA. Kiosks don't work, the place is unattended, no one does anything, and TSA just tells you what they can't do! Was standing watching my plane leave because no one is here to print boarding passes and kiosks would not work, tried all kiosks. Will take your money but won't do anything for you! Total joke!

STS is a wonderful little gem of an airport still retaining the small town charm and EASE OF USE that I remember about airports of my childhood. That encompasses the early 1950s Los Angeles Municipal Airport which, believe it or not was once once smaller than Hollywood Burbank and had an almost festive - I said almost - atmosphere. Back then, air travel was still new and somewhat special, not the migraine-inducing horror show it is today.

STS is not that, but it's also not maniacal and intimidating. Someday soon that will change, but for now it's still slightly countrified which is fine by me.
